A vibrant expression of Sonoma Valley, the 2024 Hibou White exudes freshness and verve with aromas of white peach, Meyer lemon, and honeysuckle. On the palate, citrus zest and orchard fruits are balanced by a silky, rounded mid-palate weight from gentle lees aging. The finish is long and refreshing, leaving lingering notes of citrus oil, white flowers, and a delicate touch of stone. Crafted by Keith Emerson of Vineyard 29 and Gundlach Bundschu Winery, the wine is bright, vivid and laser-focused, with lemon-bright acidity. Aromas of oyster-shell minerality join luscious apricot, pear and apple fruit, all carried by a fabulous thread of wet slate and chalky minerality on the bone-dry finish. Grapes are farmed organically by Phil Coturri.
